“Big” John Hawk Signs 3 Fight Deal with the NAAFS

(09/22/09 – Canton, OH) – The NAAFS is pleased to announce the signing of 2008 National Amateur Co-Heavyweight Champion “Big” John Hawk to an exclusive 3 fight deal with the promotion. The majority of Hawk’s fights have taken place inside the NAAFS cage, where he has amassed an impressive unbeaten 8-0-1 overall record.

“We are pleased to add even more long term depth the NAAFS Pro Series Heavyweight Division with a fighter who has the credentials that John Hawk brings to the table,” commented NAAFS representative Steve Hindman.

News of the signing was released to the NAAFS Nation at the recent Caged Vengeance 6 event, where Hawk entered the NAAFS cage just moments after signing his brand new contract. The 2008 National Amateur Co-Heavyweight Champion made his intentions clear that he wants a shot at becoming the Pro Series Heavyweight Champion.

Hawk’s first fight under the new deal will take place on Saturday December 5th at NAAFS Night of Champions in Hawk’s hometown of Akron, OH. For more information on John Hawk, Night of Champions, or the NAAFS; visit us online at www.NAAFS.tv.
